I was recently on the receiving end of a lecture explaining that I had just spent the most useless year of my life, it didn't take me very long to explain to my parents that it has in fact been far and away the very best and most constructive year that I have ever had in the history of me.

They encourage me to get out and do things but only in a few words here and there, mostly they just ask me when I'm going to get a career...not that I'm lazy its just not in the cards sorry folks.

Hey making new friends is awesome, but as great as it is I find myself only capable of becoming friends with fantastic people. I think its wonderful how much time you spend visiting your mum in hospital, I'm sure she draws a lot of strength from that.
